Shipping Policy and Delivery

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding statutory holidays). During product launches, promotions, or periods of high order volume, processing times may be slightly longer.

Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information (where available).

If you need to make changes to or cancel your order, please contact us at hello.rootedritual@gmail.com as soon as possible. While we'll do our best to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee changes once an order has begun processing.

We currently offer local delivery within Calgary and select surrounding communities.

Where available, local delivery options and applicable fees will be displayed at checkout.

Local deliveries are generally completed within 1–5 business days after order processing.

Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, traffic, seasonal demand, or other factors beyond our control.

If additional information is required to complete delivery, we may contact you using the email address or phone number provided at checkout.

If no one is available to receive the order, it may be left in a safe location at the delivery address at the driver's discretion, unless otherwise requested.

For customers outside our local delivery area, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, package size, and carrier rates.

Orders may be shipped using Canada Post, Dragonfly, Intelcom, or other trusted shipping partners selected by Rooted Ritual Hair Oil.

Estimated shipping timelines are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are subject to the carrier's operations, weather conditions, and regional service availability.

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided once your order has been shipped.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear after receiving your shipment confirmation.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipping and delivery information is accurate and complete at the time of purchase.

Rooted Ritual Hair Oil is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, additional shipping charges, or lost packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, Rooted Ritual Hair Oil cannot guarantee delivery dates.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

Weather events
Carrier service disruptions
Labour disruptions
Natural disasters
Customs or regulatory delays
Incorrect delivery information
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello.rootedritual@gmail.com and include photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label whenever possible.

If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier but cannot be located, customers should first check:

Around the delivery location
With household members
With neighbours
With building management or concierge services

Rooted Ritual Hair Oil is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier.

We will, however, do our best to assist customers in working with the carrier to investigate delivery issues.

Planning something special? Orders of 50 hair oil jars or more may require additional preparation time as our products are handcrafted in small batches.
